Abstract

There are several autobiographies written in Arabic by the Arabs and also by the non-Arabs. Among such famous autobiographies are ‘al-Ayyam’ by Taha Hussain, ‘Hayati’ by Ahmad Amin and ‘Ana’ by Mahmud al-Aqqad, ‘al-Sirah al-Tairah’ is one of these celebrated autobiographies. It was written by Ibrahim Nasrullah who was born in 1954. To his credit are 12 poetic collections and 22 novels. The autobiography in hand was published in 2012 from al-Dar al-Arabiyyah li al-Ulum Nashirun. This is a short article to shed light on its historical and literary importance.
