Abstract
The research traces the most prominent efforts of philosophers and fundamentalists in the era of the Abbasid state, in which the culture of the Arabs was influenced by Greek culture, which is based on philosophy and logic, and paves the way for this by explaining the reasons for resorting to language in philosophy and origins, and clarifying the basis on which it is relied to establish a linguistic work in a case, then it determines Sections of the efforts of philosophers and fundamentalists in language first, then the most prominent of their scholars and efforts in the field of the origin of language, and the differences of scholars on how Adam, peace be upon him, came to pronouncing it, and mentioning their rational and textual evidence for their opinions, in contrast to the opinion of scholars who suggested that language was originated by moderation and convention, and then in the field of The formulation of words and their divisions with regard to the terms (speech) and (the word), then in the field of various linguistic methods such as questioning, wondering, wishing and others, then in the field of semantics and their types, limiting them to the positive verbal connotation, and dividing them into three sections: congruent indication, implied indication, and commitment indication. In the conclusion, he explains how the fundamentalists and philosophers invested linguistic efforts in their books, the most prominent results of the linguistic efforts they presented to us, and the aspects of convergence and differences between the efforts of philosophers and the original Leyen, and between them and the linguists.
