Abstract

This research paper deals with the poetic aspect of the scholar Dr. Muhammad Taqi ud-Din Alhilali Almarrakchi, one of the Moroccan writers and authors of the fourteenth century AH. He was a poet, writer, translator and orator. And his literature is distinguished by his wide knowledge and abundant culture. He was fluent in five languages, these are: Hebrew, German, English and Spanish, in addition to Arabic. Sheikh Al-Hilali actively contributed to the field of poetry. And he has a (Deevan) collection of his poetry "Minhatul Kabirul Mutaali fi sher akhbari Muhammad Taqi al-Din al-Hilali,". In all, Sheikh Hilali was a great poet. This becomes apparent while reading his poetry. Therefore, I saw relevant to introduce the characteristics, features and topics of his poetry in this research paper.
